Vision Statement
The Taglit-Birthright Israel: Ezra trip is aimed at Young Russian Jews from all backgrounds speaking English or Russian. And is intended to enable them to experience Israel's great historical sites, understand the country’s current political, cultural and economic realities, and spend time with peers from Israel.
Our main goal is to unite young Russian Jewish people through cultural revival. Our mission is to enhance and make the lives of the Jewish youth more diverse, interesting, and exciting. We present young people with an opportunity to become more connected to Jewish traditions, and strive to make that bond unshakeable. At the same time, we offer young Jews the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities. We are building a stronger Jewish Identity in our Community and develop a closer connection to the State of Israel.
Even though our trips & programs are aimed at young Jews with Russian Roots, we are not limited to them and welcome Jews from other communities, since we offer trips & programs in both languages.

"Ezra - World" is one of the largest Zionist youth and student movement. We have branches in: Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, France, England, Germany and the U.S.A. We hope to have another branch in Canada in the near future.
We organize activities for 25,000 teenagers and students.
The young Jewish population (from 18-26 years old) is offered the amazing opportunity to visit and fall in love with their homeland. During our free 10-day trip to Israel, 40 strangers become close friends, united by an unforgettable once-in a lifetime experience. However, with Ezra the 10-day trip becomes just a beginning. Our organization also offers its participants the opportunity to develop leadership skills by joining the School of the Madrichim - Aviv, to learn the beautiful language of the Jewish people by attending our Hebrew classes. These are just two examples of the opportunities that Ezra offers its participants after they come back from the trip! Ezra also offers subsidize trips to other countries such as Argentina, China, Russia and many other countries in Europe.
The tour is accompanied by a variety of attractions, extending from Israel’s most northern tip to its southern borders, throughout the duration of the trip.
Participants will meet Israelis in various places, such as coffee houses, night clubs, Universities, in the army and in various neighborhoods which best reflect Israel’s diversity to date. Through the eyes of Israelis, participants will be able to learn about modern Israel from different angles.
Shabbat on Ezra’s program is spent in Jerusalem. Participants will visit the Old City, the Western Wall, and Jerusalem’s Great Synagogue. Participants on our programs have always reported exceptionally spiritual experiences.
“Ezra”- takes pride in some of Israel's most talented and personable tour educators. The educator’s graduates of the rigorous Israeli tour guide schools love to share their passion for life, history, Israel and the great outdoors with participants! Participants have a choice of picking a group with Russian-Speaking guide or English-Speaking guide.
